What YOU will get:

  • Every group will begin with an optional check-in followed by a different mindfulness practice such as a guided meditation, breathing technique, body scan meditation or a yoga-informed exercise

  • You will learn resources and Mind-Body-Spirit tools that are helpful to manage trauma-related triggers and symptoms, plus you will build a personalized “Self-Rescue Kit” starting at the first group meeting

  • EMDR Therapy which is backed by neuroscience and research has shown to be one of the most effective forms of treatment to address trauma

  • Two (NOT JUST ONE!) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists that are highly trained and experienced in working with trauma with the use of EMDR therapy and who incorporate mindfulness, yoga and other mind-body-spirit techniques to help their clients be more successful in treatment. The therapists will ensure you are supported every step of the way in the process!

  • An individual intake session with both therapists to ensure they both understand your individual needs and that you have an action plan tailored to those needs (50-minutes), a total of 8 intimate group sessions (90-minutes each), plus 1 individual check-in session (50-minutes) and an individual wrap-up session (30-minutes), all at a fraction of the cost!

Group will meet on Thursdays from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and will begin promptly, so please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes early.  Light refreshments and healthy snacks will be available at every meeting.

Once you sign up for the interest list you will be contacted by one of the Facilitators via email to schedule your free phone consultation.  At this consultation you can expect for the facilitator to have a list of questions for you that will help her assess your needs from a clinical perspective and determine if this group is appropriate for you. Also, you will have an opportunity to get all of your questions answered.  We care about every person getting the best care possible, which means that if for any reason we feel the group is not appropriate for you then you will receive some recommendations and if necessary will be provided with referrals.  If it is determined the group is a good fit for you and you decide to sign up, you will be invited to either pay a deposit or the price in full (payment plans are available upon request). A deposit of $200 will be required in order to reserve your intake appointment and will not be refundable if you miss the appointment or once the appointment is completed if you change your mind.  You will be redirected to this link for payment once you complete the phone consultation.
